  1. In a thick bottom pan add milk, sugar, semolina and ghee and mix well. Now place it on heat and keep on whisking.
  2. It will get thick and and thick and thick. You have to keep on cooking and stirring on medium high heat. At one stage you will see that the mixture leaves the sides of the pan and comes in one big mass around the spoon.
  3. Now add in 1 tbsp of ghee and essence mix well. This whole process will take around 20 minutes.

  6. In the remaining half add food colour of your choice and mix well. Repeat the same procedure by using rolling pin. Now cut it into squares and arrange it between sheets of parchment.
